Jr. Warriors Program

It is an opportunity for 3rd- 5th grade or 6th grade players that have not played before

to build basketball skills and have fun together. Starting the first week in January,

we practice twice weekly for 6 weeks and focus on basic basketball skills, game

rules, and scrimmaging. The players will be split into several teams and will have

the opportunity to scrimmage each other at our Sioux City Warriors home games.

Our mission is to teach players about teamwork through basketball and to

provide a Christian community for families to build healthy and long-lasting

relationships.

Since we are focusing mostly on basic skills, this program is designed for all

homeschool players between 3-5th grades or players in 6th grade who have not played basketball before.

The fee for this program is $100. The players will also get a T-shirt to keep that

will be used as their uniform during scrimmages.

Yes! One of the great parts of being a parent-run organization is the opportunity

to be involved with our children and other like-minded families on the team. The

other part of being a parent-run organization is that we can only make this Junior

Warriors program work parents are willing to work with their children at home and
